Orkney Pottery ?
I picked this up today. I like the look of the 'scraffito' if that's the right term. It is 12cm in height. Cant say if its a cup a tankard or ??. It looks like a bull with a sword in it. It seems to have scales across the top of its back. cant work out if its a sword or something holding a sword. If its orkney would it have a viking theme possibly ? Any help would be good.https://2img.net/h/i99.photobucket.com/albums/l304/petet63/IMG_1042.jpghttps://2img.net/h/i99.photobucket.com/albums/l304/petet63/IMG_1046.jpg

Re: Orkney Pottery ?
Bearing in mind it could be a dragon, have you considered any Welsh potteries? There is a Rumney Pottery in Wales which according to their website has been around since the 1940's. Their current products include tankards but none resembles yours (although there are some dragon designs), so it's a long shot.
