Sculptor Potter with Maltby influences? Earlier distorted slab-built pots like this one, and more latterly figures; people oriented, dream-like.

thanks climberg64 for solving that mystery potter for me... this was also rescue from charity shop... at first i was contemplating should i go for it... then i felt it in my hands and looks at the design i thought this maker most be very good... then decided i might as well go for it.... this vase has found is place in my glass cabinet :)
