Art Nouveau ?

bought this little pot on ebay , no idea of maker at all , but I know it has an arts & Craft / Nouveau look , I can't help thinking a little deco as well , anybody know more about these sort of pieces ?

I usually don't enthuse about Art Nouveau pottery but that's outstanding imo

Thanks both , I really like it , I'm not mad about all that period either but certain pieces I think are great , what age do you think it might be ?

I know that Jugendstil is the German term for Art Nouveau.1895-1910 I guess.

Yes , I know that term , same as our Arts & crafts , but has the seller got it right ?, I don't know if they were still being made at a later date .

Most of the Eichwald seem to be well named ,stamped etc and of white clay so probably not mine , can't find a match on the net yet .

My first thought when I saw it were Bretby, but doubt the numbers are correct for Bretby.

I thought that as well potty , although some bretby is very faintly mark I can't see any signs on this pot , I have to assume it's from the german area .
