Baked In Baghdad? Empty Baked In Baghdad?

I picked up a couple of interesting pieces about 2 months ago. This Piece, Being fired in Baghdad in 1976 led me to thing maybe it was done by a bored geologist who might have been in the middle east looking for oil, and wanted something to do on his time off.
