Anyone familiar with this Cal Pottery mark -- CALif U.S.A.

I know there's a lot of California made pottery from the 1950s and 1960s that are marked, "CALIF USA" or "CALIF U.S.A.", but I have piece with a mark that I'm not familiar with.

The piece is a set of three, square nesting bowls or ashtrays that are marked , "CALif U.S.A."

The mark is mixed case, not all capital letters like I normally see.

There are no style numbers like I usually see on pieces marked, "CALIF USA".

Anyone familiar with a California mark with the mixed case like that?

try adding some pics

Mark looked similar to a mark be Miramar of California, but slightly different and they usually include more information on the bottom such as year and style

Thanks for the link to calpotteries.com. I have been there before but completely forgot about it. Glad you posted it.

One of the companies listed is Guppy's. I noticed that they had a piece that had the CALif spelling in the mixed case like the one I have.

Mine doesn't have the Guppy's name and the mark is incised vs. a a stamp like Guppy's used.

So many differences, but it's the only one I saw that spelled CALif like that.
