Ken and Anne Rodgers, Alsager Pottery (Staffs).

I have this slipware decorated mug/tankard with a mark which I think possibly Sally/Sonia St. Leger. The style seems to fit in with the entry shown in Yates-Owen but I can find very little infomation other than she was at Willesdon School of Art., and spent time in Australia. Any ideas or information much appreciated. The motif on front reads Old Commoners C.C. (cricket club presumably). Thanks John

A pretty motto plate with all the information on the reverse, but who is AS?
The decoration is in such relief I wonder if it was tube-applied.
