IMH? HIM? MHI? Help! Please?

The lady in the charity shop said this was Chinese...but I don't believe her.
The letters are I, M and H, I think, but I've no idea who they belong to or what order they should be. Very grateful for any views, ideas etc.



I'm going to have to try and upload the pic of the bowl itself tommorrow but its a wide shallow bowl 22cm across, 6 cm deep, with a pierced rim of circles and triangles. Light brown glaze about 4cm down into a nice deep green to chocolate brown. Got a fair bit of crazing and is a fine white clay.
