Pottery seal problem
Help again please...sigh.
It's a drinking vessel (er. I think the word I'm looking for is cup, unless anyone can suggest a better one?) and it's got this clear mark on the unglazed bit. Does it ring a bell with anyone?
That pic took 24 mins to upload (broadband? What broadband? That'll teach me to live in t'country...I think BT send their digital images by horse and cart round here) so sadly there isn't gonig to be one of the cup itself tonight...

Looks like a pictograph of a mountain and a lake. American, maybe?

That's what I thought too - and yes, thought it might be a ref to our abundance of mountains and lakes...but not getting any joy with local potters...I don't really know where to start with American potteries?
