3-sided bowl with stylized, "cubist" fruit decoration
I bought this nice bowl a while ago in a second hand shop in Switzerland.
Diameter appr. 27 cm, 9 cm high.
Brown clay, base with impressed number "35", and painted number "65496".
It has a quite special colour combo of turquoise, yellow and orange on greyish mottled background, showing some stylized fruit.
Not the slightest idea where it could come from (maybe Italy? - but Swiss is another option), neither when it may have been made; I would guess 1950s, but I could be way off...
Thanks for any help,
Michael

I'd say Italian.

Wow -- thanks, that was fast!
I guess those Italian ceramics are rather difficult to attribute to a particular maker?
It does look more like factory than small ceramics studio to me; nice quality, rather delicate, glossy glaze...
I hope that the specialist Graham will look into this :-)
