I'm having trouble trying to find the correct "Brenda Starr" and google search results are blooded with the comic strip character.
It's a beautiful piece and strangely it kind of looks like the Grim Reaper. I didn't notice that until my wife mentioned it, lol.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The name didn't mean anything to me but I thought that it was rather sculptural and a google search came up with a sculptor called Brenda Star in Massachusetts.
I know that is one "r" less but looking at some of her work from the 1980s there did seem a similarity in shape and colour.
I think that it might be worth emailing her. She might have dropped the extra "r" for commercial reasons.

Thank you for the info. I have sent her an email and am waiting for a response. This time off of work is turning into work but of a fun nature. When I was out walking the neighborhood today I spied a couple of pieces at a garage sale that turned out to be Emily Pearlman. Nothing huge but still a known potter and handsome pieces that were had for $8 for the pair. I haven't taken pics yet but will throw them up when I do.
thanks again.
