I've never seen this before. No marks to base. Who would have made this please?

Re: Raised - Sprigged - Pattern on Staffordshire Cup and Saucer
Looks to be c.1820-1850 Staffordshire porcelain cup & saucer. They were often unmarked at that time. The decoration has been molded and applied and coloured by hand - the same technique used by Wedgewood to apply decoration to their jasperware.
Without a maker's mark it would be very difficult to pin it down to one particular Staffordshire pottery.

Thanks Naomi. I do seem to have a habit of finding stuff that's 19th century. Sorry.

Nothing wrong with 19th Century stuff. (although it might get us barred from this forum).

Perhaps someone should start another website called 19th Century Forum. Not me though I'm afraid - I'm hopeless at technology. Trouble is I nevernow it's 19th century until I ask.

Don't worry, that often occurs with older items up for ID.
