Large size 20" tall 9" wide. Textured dimensional pattern.
I'm not sure what it is but would make an awesome planter.
No makers marks but looks similar to pieces by Cressey or Kinzie?

I've seen some very similar lamp bases to this vase, which are listed as by the Affiliated Craftsmen Studios of California. The attribution doesn't go as far as saying they're by David Cressey or Bob Kinzie, simply that they are Cressey/Kinzie Era. Unless it's signed I think that's as much as you can say about it.

I'm almost sure the piece is Affiliated Craftsmen rather than Cressey. The bottom is unusual. Check my listing for Kinzie and Affiliated Craftsmen under American and Canadian potters, The Kinzie's website is listed there which has contact info. If you email Sandy Kenzie and send her a pic, she can probably tell you for sure if it is Affiliated Craftsmen and who may have made it. It is a very nice pot.
