Picasso-esque painted pottery bottle/vase. Worn mark to base. Any ideas?
Does anyone recognise from either the worn mark, or style of decoration, who this 6" high bottle vase might be by?
My guess it's origins are Spanish from the mid century Picasso meets Miro hand painted and impressed decoration, and remains of a red and yellow sticker....

I agree with your guess Mr T,the decoration is very free and I prefer it to the picasso-esque pottery produced by other potteries at that time (1960's)

Thanks DTM, it's got a weird cheap but accomplished artisanal feel about it, maybe aimed at the 60's Spanish proto-tourist market....
