1950s/60s stylized cat...
Anyone able to help ID this nice midcentury stylized cat?
Stands 23 cm high, has a white and greyish-green (fake) crackle glaze, and punched holes for eyes and mouth.
Thanks!
Michael

Re: 1950s/60s stylized cat...
Another mystery (almost) solved
Today one of the Hungarian sellers of vintage Hungarian ceramics at the fleamarket had the exact same cat...
He told me it was Hungarian, and by famous ceramist Geza Gorka.
I am not totally convinced about the latter (though it would be very nice); there are quite similar pieces by Gorka found on the web, but not an exact match.
