Tall porcelain vase with lustre decoration based on the late 19th Century Chinese/Cantonese style, by Roger Michell 1990.
Signed & dated "R.S. Michell 90"

Michell designed various items of Carltonware - such as the tea service with legs - in the 70s & 80s, the set up his own Studio line of lustreware.

15 cm thrown studio jug, signed RS Michell 87, not sure if porcelain or pottery. Very complicated hand painted design of birds on a plinth with pillars in between and vases of flowers on the rim. Again, lots of gold in the design.
