Picked up an interesting slipware mug today, that's a long way from home.

Inscribed on the base:

Hand made
by
M.G. Johnstone
Algoma Canada

Above that there's an impressed stamp that looks like a flower, to the right of 4 characters which look like:
L 6
J 3

A jug with a similar inscription and pottery stamp is listed on ebay as 'ALGOMA Canadian Art Pottey Pitcher Jug Ewer Red Clay'
