Unusual Italian porcelain flower bowl Empty Unusual Italian porcelain flower bowl

Unfortunately this piece is quite badly damaged with a botched repair. But I thought it was so unusual I bought it anyhow.
There is an old felt pad on the base - which may have been applied at source (?). The backstamp is MADE IN ITALY printed in gold
