Is this West German?
Spotted this pebble vase in a charity shop and temped to buy it, but first checking whether it's a crappy TK Maxx-style pot or a decent West German one?
The sgraffito circles and matt surface wash look hand done. Light weight pottery despite it's size (not stoneware - reddish colour under the surface coat). Base is quite thin. Light greyish-blue coating inside.
There are very faint impressed marks to the base which could be numbers or country of origin.
Couldn't measure it, but estimate it's around 10"-12" dia.
I'm wondering if it's from the same maker as this one:
Or is that too far fetched?

Re: Is this West German?
It's not from the same maker as the Dumler & Breiden ( dee cee) imported , no reason to think it's german imo , not my thing really , looks handmade and £2 would be about right , but as usual only guessing

For £2 I'd be happy to buy it. But it's £10 and I've wasted enough money on blind punts this week.
