Possibly Kralik, Czech, glass. Mould blown.

After much research I would agree with Kralik. I think "Silberband" to be exact. It came in a wide variety of forms and even with the quilted diamond pattern. The hobnail and metal collar makes it pretty unique.
Thanks Naomi...

Yes, you are right. I saw something that looked very similar however I have now discovered that it was identified incorrectly as well. Completely forgot to come back and post that. As I have mentioned previously I'm not an expert on glass and this piece being quite rare in design it appears, I made that mistake when I found the similar one. Oh well, live and learn.
Any thoughts Christine on the piece itself other than not being Silberband?
thanks thD

Found one attributed to Loetz, but that might be a guess on their part:

Woe, thanks Naomi, that's some super sleuthing on your part. It's different glass but the one is most certainly the same form.
Thank-you very much.

No, the metalwork and the pattern look too crude. My guess would be perhaps Mexico now more have been found in the US. The Mexicans quite like blowing into metal shapes. I would ask on www.glassmessages.com
Here is a good resource for Bohemian glass

I'm afraid I generally take auction attributions (online or B&M) with a large pinch of salt.

Re: Iridescent Vase with a Metal collar - Silvestri, America
Hi there,
This vase is a modern vase made by the American company Silvestri in about the 1990's - definitely not Loetz. The mis-attribution began with the Treadway auction in 2005, and now these vases show up regularly on Ebay & Etsy. They made the vase in several colors - I own a golden colored version while I have also seen it in green. They also made a similar vase with an elongated neck. (You can see one on Pinterest if you Google 'Silvestri Iridescent Glass')
I hope this is helpful to everyone.
Best,
Michelle
