Similar shape to some bertoncello , but these shapes are very common now even with stuff being made today , doubt it's bertie.

Can you post a pic of the bottom side. I'm reasonably sure that I know what it is but I need to see the bottom.
Cheers

My thoughts exactly. I think "Canadiana". Which was the company started by Alfred Dube, the former plant manager at Blue Mountain. They were marked with a black ink stamp that almost always wore off in pretty short order.
Re: help please No mark but i love it
Had a look on the bottom and there is absolutely nothing
if you still want a pic i will put one up,
Thanks for all the info

A base picture is *always* required, regardless of a mark or not, the base actually still tells an awful lot.

Re: help please No mark but i love it
We have a Blue Mountain dog with a chip on the tail in the shop at the moment, and the clay is more red-brown in colour.

I would now have to say no to Canadiana. The clay is much more red. If the color in your photo is accurate then that is not Canadiana.
Re: help please No mark but i love it
Hi
Photo is very accurate in color, so possibly could be bertie ?

Re: help please No mark but i love it
person i got it from was elderly and indicated they had it a while (few years) i must admit though that i dont think they were that truthful as they said the staind glass ornament to the right in the picture was also old and it turns out to be signed Bill Morrison 05, still nice though.

Re: help please No mark but i love it
Could it be a Japanese ikebana vase (for flower arranging)? I've come across some 'mid-century' black, pipe-shaped ones made by Toyo.
