Tall studio jug with SC Fleur-de-Lis mark - French?

So far I've found out it's called a baluster jug, and the shape dates from Medieval times. Whether this is 12th or 20th Century is another matter entirely, since several potters like (Doug Fitch) and suppliers for Medieval re-enactments have revived the shape.

I'd say last half of the 20th century for date.
Not a mark I recognise but I'll have a quick look later to see if I can find similar anywhere.
