Any ID thoughts please on this small (7 1/2inch wide) dish.Strange pineapple shaped mark with what looks like MS inside. I thought that the design had a 60s feel to it but probably isn't. Another look at mark perhaps oriental?? Has a distinctive combed finish to base.All thoughts appreciated

It looks Oriental to me.

I dunno at all , but agree the mark looks asian or similar .

I have seen similar pottery produced in Malaysia

Dan, I think that you're right, I am sure that I have seen similar before now that you have mentioned it.
I don't suppose by any chance Malaysian pottery is a very big collectable field LOL Laughter
