I have seen a label around on the internet that says "Scancrystal Since 1796".

Just poked around on the net a bit more because I can't resist a mystery! According to a discussion here http://goo.gl/QAKOR Scancrystal aka Scankristall were an Estonian company previously known as Lorup.

Thanks, I think it is Scancrystal and the Estonia fits also - I got up and thought why not use my Glass A-Z and was just running down the options but looked here first so thanks again.

My pleasure - it is how I learn Happy Now that I know it says Estonia I can see the ONI and half the A of Estonia on your label!
