Hello

This piece seems a little too advanced for a pottery class piece yet the mark is rather base - Jay and roman numeral 5. Anyone know it?

Some students are really good. Some professional potters are really awful. I think this is still a student piece.

Although it looks well made and the glaze effect is advanced, the signature does really show that it is as Naomi says.
