Figure of woman and child reading ID help

Hi,

I'm new to forum and would welcome any information on this piece.

Its a figure of a woman reading with a young girl with a description on a plinth underneath, I have used Google translate but I cant even identify the language.

I have taken some photos (below) and hope someone can help or point me in the correct direction.

Base of figure

I have seen this figure attributed to Polonne ZHK, a Soviet era Ukrainian porcelain factory.

I think the inscription might be German but it is hard to see enough of it in the pictures to be sure.

Thank you very much Gareth, I have started collecting Russian figures but all the ones I have are marked. I just thought that this had the feel and look of one but the inscription was throwing me.
