Re: Help needed to Id studio pottery
I've uploaded a better photo of the seal mark. I think it's the initials df. Can it be David Frith?

Re: Help needed to Id studio pottery
I have some domestic ware by him (somewhere in loft) but from memory, the 'd' is lower than the 'f' on my pieces.

Thanks Alan. Does anyone have a photo of a 1960s potter's stamp for David Frith? Thanks

Hi Krista, see
http://www.studiopottery.com
for some Frith marks.
According to one of my ceramics books, the df impressed mark was used 1963 to 1975.
