Too good for KPB and it does look Chinese.
However, the reason that I don't buy Chinese ceramics is that I find it so difficult to say whether they are a thousand years old or made yesterday.

Very nice.
Probably Korean.
The age depends on the depth of the carved or impressed pattern under the glaze - the depth became far more shallow towards the 20th Century.
Not a pattern I've seen before so I can't say more.
Worth asking on http://gotheborg.com

just to add, you can't go by crazing of the glaze to estimate age - modern pieces are often crazed.

Found one with the same pattern, but different shape, on ebay, listed as "15th - 16th Century Chinese LongQuan Celadon Enameled Lotus Bowl"
Doesn't necessarily mean this is also 15-16th Century, or that the one in the ebay listing is 15-16th Century.

Correction, pattern is similar, but not the same.

My gut feeling is this is a modern copy.

Re: ORIENTAL CHINESE BOWL PLATE.. STUDIO POTTERY STYLE
Judging the age of any item really can only be done by feeling and examining it closely, so taking it to a specialist is your best bet.
One other point to make is that if it was made fairly recently that doesn't mean that it was done to deceive, as in Chinese ceramics the finest wares have been copied down the ages to pay homage to the originals.

Some of the potteries are still in production, using the same designs, same clays, and same firing methods that their ancestors used hundreds of years ago.

IF you search on "YAOZHOU CELADON BOWL SONG DYNASTY" you'll find a number of similar bowls. They have been in production from the 10th to the 19th Century, and maybe to present day.

I doubt it has much age, but it is very nice.

Re: ORIENTAL CHINESE BOWL PLATE.. STUDIO POTTERY STYLE
The carved ones go for a lot more than the moulded ones. Having had a bit of time to search I'm coming up with a number of bowls with this design and varying colours of glaze, which implies it's moulded and probably a later 19th Century copy.
