Toni Raymond & Babbacombe Pottery
From StudioPottery.com
Pair of lidded jam pots on tray with cottage decoration, stamped Toni Raymond Pottery
Toni Raymond Pottery was established in Torquay, Devon in 1951. The company is known for its decorated earthenware table and kitchen wares.
In 1967 they acquired Babbacombe Pottery which had been operating in the same area since 1949.

melon shaped melon dish?
Hi, my first post here, so hope I get things right.
I am trying to identify this melon slice shaped dish. It is 9 inches from tip to tip, hand painted all over although the pink looks more stippled or even sprayed? The annoying thing is I did once identify it myself about 4 years ago, saved a bookmark of a page with an identical one, but the computer didn't survive, so stupidly I'm back to square one, but don't seem so fortunate in my efforts this time!
Any help much appreciated, base has no markings whatsoever.

Black with white spiral yellow interior mark 56/43 - Babbacombe Pottery
Hi
A 6.75 inches tall torpedo shapped earthenware vase. Black gloss glaze with trailing white ribbon exterior and mustard yello gloss glaze interior. The only mark is the number code 56/43 on base. A very tactile and pleasing piece.

Re: Toni Raymond & Babbacombe Pottery
I think it's by one of the Torquay Watcome potteries. c.1930s.

What a coincidence !! I found this today - black with yellow spiral and yellow interior ( 20 cms), but...............marked Babbacombe as far as can tell

Re: Toni Raymond & Babbacombe Pottery
Would it still be 1950's?
Yours being 1956 and mine 1959 with the second numbers being the shape

Re: Toni Raymond & Babbacombe Pottery
studio-pots wrote:It is a vase from the Royal Aller Vale & Watcombe Pottery Co., as Naomi suggests, but from the late 1950s.
It should have a black ink stamp that was either missed off by mistake or faded over the years.
Can I take that back?
Lindylou is correct - They are Babbacombe Pottery with the first number being the date and the last one the shape.
The pot I was looking at only showed the combe and I jumped to the wrong conclusion.
They were made in Torquay though.

Waisted Vase with Striation Glaze - Babbacombe?
Hello again
Not really studio pottery this I think but it bears a (rubber) stamped mark and edition number 62/00
The rubber stamp is a bit faded and reads "something pottery Ltd"
The something could possibly start with a D or a B and looks like quite a long word
There is a further word in the middle that looks like "homer"
The glaze is a lot sharper than my useless photo, its a sage green base colour with dark and light blue, green and pink streaks from rim to base
Measures 14x9cm
Thanks

Not sure about Wattisfield - https://www.20thcenturyforum.com/t13169-wattisfield-ware-sfk-suffolk#105286
Might be one of the Torquay/Devonware pottery stamps.

Toni Raymond Cheese Triangle Dish/Pot
Hi.
Need some help.
The only cheese dishes I can find have the mouse and cheese on the lid.
Any info, etc. date/price would be a great help.
Many thanks
