Re: Purbeck Pottery (England)
Tbh I didn’t turn it round but I’m sure it’s purbeck . It’s more of a dish than a plate.

Purbeck pottery large (29cm) base brown and speckled grey with sticker
I spotted this huge pot in a charity shop, wondered if it was W.German from a distance but close up it's Purbeck (sticker on bottom). I gather from other posts that Robert Jefferson and Eddie Goodall were both making pots in the early studio phase of the Pottery from which I assume this dates (1970's?). I would be pleased for a more informed opinion as to which of them made it as I have not spotted the distinctive swirl attributed anywhere else. There is no personal mark anywhere. Many thanks, Manda

Re: Purbeck Pottery (England)
I would guess it's an Eddie Goodall design but I don't know much about Purbeck
A blog post about Robert Jefferson, although they only mention Purbeck once, in passing

Thank-you for that link to the Jefferson article - very interesting. I realise that I have that pea and broccoli dish and never knew it was by him.
