Re: Teabowls
I have seen these before (probably from where you bought them) and when I saw the description I doubted the "Hagi-ware" description. Of course, they could have been made in or around Hagi City but the clay body, the form of the first and the glaze on the second one are not like anything that I have seen used traditionally for Hagi ware.

Re: Teabowls
It’s not traditional hagi-yaki, but there are plenty of Japanese potters now making these crawled shino hagi ware yunomis. But admittedly the second one is more Shino-yaki from one of the other prefectures

The first yunomi does have a glaze that looks similar to the cracked white glaze that is a typical Hagi glaze that seems to have been developed by the Kiwa family that has potted there for generations. It is know as Oni-Hagi Shiro. Shiro meaning "white" and Oni meaning "devil". Devil because it is said by some that the spaces between the white glaze are there for the devil to fall down and disappear and keep the user safe.
However, the clay with lots of feldspar looks more Shigaraki than typical Hagi, although there are 3 general clay types traditionally used in Hagi. Interestingly, they react similar to our earthenwares and so, yunomis, guinomis and chawan when new, leak or, at least, liquid seeps through.
The shino glaze of the second yunomi is not a glaze used in traditional Hagi pottery. Having said that, I have a book, mainly in Japanese that is around 15 years old now of members of the Hagi Association of Ceramic Artists (similar to the CPA books but just for Hagi potters). Of the members then, around 10 to 15% where not producing things typical of traditional Hagi yaki.

Re: Teabowls
Someone suggested a student of Suzuki Osamu but I'll take that with a pinch of salt. But Shino-ware, none the less
