Went to Dylan & Jane Bowen’s open studio on the weekend because I’d been told that Jane had exhibited teabowls at Wardlow Mires festival this year.
Seems to have been a bit wide of the mark; at no stretch of the imagination could it be called a teabowl, no wonder Dylan looked a bit puzzled when I asked to see them Shock

but it will make a very fine fruit bowl or planter.

Chawan. Dylan says it was made a few years ago for an exhibition of studio pottery chawan and yunomis at one of the Galleries. Big enough to be a bowl rather than a drinking vessel, if I’m honest.
