"Basket" by Ann Read 1956/7. Not a common on pattern. Nice find.
Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part One
that has to be the cheapest Atlantis I have ever seen Lee but it also has to be the worst

A few more of my 100 or so 49ers. Always liked the amount of work on these earlier
small pieces, which even so, must have been made in vast quantities.

Great pieces! I'm very jealous.
Here are two 8" Delphis plates which have the blue Poole mark.
They were both painted by Geraldine O’Meara.

Olympus stoneware
Olympus stoneware, designed by Ros Sommerfelt 1977, in the "Seashore" and "Seville" patterns.
Various throwers and decorators. The tallest 60E vase, (incorrectly stamped as 60D), is 12.5 in high,
was thown by Chris White, and is in an unusual purple glaze.

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part One

OOOOh you bugger Dan, I've been out-Olympused!
Saw no examples on here so...
Never yet seen any of the Rosalinde pattern, and even
a purple 60E! Oh well back to the drawing board!

An Aegean vase picked up today. Rather wierd colours, it may be a bit
over-fired as there are some pock-marks on the blue band in the middle.

Here's a Studio vase with the TV mark. It's about 4.5 inches tall (12cm) and is unsigned.

Yes, it has fired well and the colours are nice and bright.
I haven't seen another in this shape and wonder if it has a number. Do you know?

That's a nice big piece.
As Dan intimated, you don't see these for sale very often. I wonder just how many were actually made.

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part One
Wierd, a sort of a cross between Atlantis and Olympus. It looks like an Olypmpus
stoneware shape anyway.
