Anybody recognise the makers mark on this vase? Empty Anybody recognise the makers mark on this vase?

Been banned from buying more stuff recently but couldn't resist this one. It was labelled as 1950's studio pottery but how accurate that is I don't know. Anyway, if anyone recognises the stamp it would be much appreciated.

No idea. It's not your Fat Lava type if that's what you're thinking. It's handthrown and heavy grogged stoneware. Here's a pic of the base if it helps.

The mark looks like a stylised Lb to me or LL but as monograms go, it's quite open to interpretation. Also has a dot above the top letter and another in the loop of the bottom one

I would have said Lb too. It has a Cornish pottery vibe to it, but the mark is not one I've come across before.

I vaguely remember something similar coming up on an ID request ages ago but I can't for the life of me remember any reference other than it was bought in a high street shop somewhere.
