Re: studio coffee set
have you checked all the pieces ? sometimes Wenford bridge marks can be very faint , especially Ara Cardews .

Re: studio coffee set
i've had a look and can see similarities. Also found similar for Gwyn Hanssen Pigott and Abuja.

Re: studio coffee set
someone on twitter, from TWGaze auctioneers has said he thinks they're Abuja - probably Peter Gboko or Abu Karo. Not names i know, but hey ho.
Re: studio coffee set
Looks like Abuja (or close connection due to the clay) to me.
SP will probably know.

Re: studio coffee set
It looks as if someone has amalgamated various pieces of unmarked pottery and may well have kept the marked pieces or sold them elsewhere.
The coffee pot and lidded bowl could well be Abuja but you can't say who made them. The jug looks more British but there seems a Cardew connection with that. However, the cup and saucer look more Leach or Aylesford.

They look like it. Is the clay body on the other pieces the same as the coffee pot or not?

Re: studio coffee set
They're all a dark red/Brown clay, but that's as much I know if the type. The milky glaze seems similar in all pieces, but I agree that the jug looks dissimilar.
Re: studio coffee set
I think they could all be Abuja or Jos. I agree the jug and the cup and saucer are different but they did vary quite a lot.
The bigger jug and the lidded pot are fab

They looks like Wenford Bridge / Abuja pieces.
Came across something interesting in a similarly coloured glaze which was by Thiebaut Chague while at Wenford Bridge. A bit of a long shot but I've PM'ed you the link anyway.

Also, can you upload photos of the bases of the pieces. Might help distinguish between the Abuja, Wenford, and not-Wenford ones.

the lidded pot has a strange area of glaze inside which looks like it has crystalised like salt.
