I asked s friend who collects Wenford and Abuja, and she said almost certainly Abuja (or Jos), including the cup and saucer which she's also got in her collection with the same shape and glaze.

Having seen the bases they are all probably from Nigeria but I suspect 70s or 80s i.e. after the Generals, who ran the country at the time, kicked Michael OBrien out and took over the pottery. They thought running a pottery was a way of making money.
