I've 25 at the moment. There's room for a few more on my shelves! I'd like another nice 'onion' vase.

Yes the onion vases are my favorite shape of those early studio vases and had the best glazes imo

He certainly does Dan. I have bought from him on ebay a couple of times. He always sells really good stuff.

That's great, thank you! Had a quick search - seems from the 1970s and haven't seen any pictures of any with cups so guess they aren't saucers. Pin dish maybe. Thanks again

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
They are from the 'Sienna' range, name is probably based on the colours which are reminiscent of raw siena and burnt siena - naturally occurring earth pigments that are basically forms of iron oxide. Only in production around 1978-1980, a range of small bowls, vases, ginger jars ( rare ) and deep bowls. Characterised by scalloped edges to give an 'art nouveau look'. I think they are under-rated and consequently whilst not very common they are never too expensive.

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
Thank you! I will probably be putting these on ebay at some point soon so that extra info was useful. I think I paid about 3 or 4 quid for them so they weren't expensive, hoping they do a bit better on ebay.

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
they might achieve £10 if anyone bids but Sienna is not popular

Agreed, its seems rather restrained compared to some of the popular Delphis and Aegean patternsdantheman wrote:they might achieve £10 if anyone bids but Sienna is not popular

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
pretty sure it's one that Chris Brown owned at some point and i'm sure he brought that fairly cheap at cottees. I will have a look and see if I can find a picture of his Peterborough stall
