No flash, Dan. It usually produces glare.
The photo was taken in a dim room - the lower shot is a bit brighter - and it's quite a subdued piece with dark glazes.

Cheers :) In not sure all the background is supposed to be while. It’s either under or over fired. The leaves are supposed to be green.
