Re: Building a Library
Books are starting to arrive!
I now have:
1. Yates-Owen & Fournier (3rd Edition): British Studio Potters' Marks - seems to me it's useful for confirming what you already know rather than discovering what you don't.
2. Bergesen: Encyclopaedia of British Art Pottery - full of information and I can see it'll be referred to often.
3. Lane: Studio Ceramics - looks a little dated for 1984 but it only cost 99p so worth having on the shelf.
4. Rice: British Studio Ceramics
5. Jones: Studio Pottery in Britain 1900-2005
I'll report back once I've read the last two.
Once again, thanks for all your suggestions.

Re: Building a Library
The only one I would not have recommended would have been the Jones one. It waffles a bit,and does not provide enough information. I've got it,and use it very infrequently.
