Some of these may be Molly Curly. I think she did some stoneware before specialising in slipware

Still a mystery although I dont think anyone’s asked Molly Curley, so that’s still a possibility. Not one of her recorded marks, though

I have one too - a HEAVY jug with same MC mark and other boxed triangles - the previous owner had "Mick Casson" labelled underneath (but i think that was wishful thinking)...

I wish it was Casson. Thanks for the replies, further investigation required!

Additional pots with same marks
Good morning,
I have recently come across two more pots with the same marks so thought I would add to the thread as one in particular has an additional ‘V’ mark. That one is mine.
The other the brown with stripes on it is one whose history I have followed.
It was sold at Chorley’s over 12 months ago.
I came on holiday to St Ives and saw it for sale in an antiques shop on Tregenna Hill. The owner confirmed he had bought it at Chorley’s where it was listed as Cardew which it clearly wasn’t.
I went to David Lays in Penzance on Tuesday and the very same pot is being sold today as by Michael Cardew…..I don’t know whether it was bought from the antique shop and the buyer is reselling it but I did look at it and it is the same pot! There seems to be a common theme with the additional mark but I’ve no idea what that means but thought the additional evidence might assist

Re: CM mark (not Michael Cardew thread)
I don't recall if anyone has asked Molly Curley if it's her mark
