I picked this up for next to nowt at a car booty today. 12" marked Deans and W. Possibly a Pottery class piece I thought. But I really like it

a 1970's vase from the American Haeger Pottery,the decoration is Earth wrap - sometimes called snake/lizardskin

Dantheman, your AW bowl above couldn't be Alan Wallwork could it? He seems to have used several incised marks as shown here http://www.studiopottery.com/cgi-bin/pp.cgi?item=5797 and if you look at the picture gallery there is a circular tile which has a similar(ish) glaze style (I'm thinking of the 'cell' structure of the green).
