Gustavsberg Stig Lindberg Gourd
Hello, I recently bought this lovely ceramic gourd. I have done some research but not much out there. My question is: is it a Stig Lindberg piece? Also is the small round mark in black perhaps the artist who painted it? If so who? Lastly would ebay be the best place to sell this beauty? This is my first post here. I have selected 2 pics to upload but not sure if the base photo is showing? I will post and see what happens. Will add to comments if it does not show in the post. Newby with L Plates! Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: Gustavsberg (Sweden)
Yes, it is by Stig Lindberg. I’m afraid I don’t know the other marks - possibly decorator’s or date marks. If you already sell on eBay then that would be a good place to list it. If it’s your first item then buyers will be wary so you’d need to build up a few sales and feedback first. Check completed listings to avoid over pricing it. I’d recommend wrapping the halves separately and double boxing it when posting

Re: Gustavsberg (Sweden)
Hi Wicked. Nice find. One of the nicest things I've seen in the last year. I'll Edit this post with he decorator but it's not that important. It's the pattern that matters. Before Lockdown there was a little Hors d'oeuvre dish on ebay of the same pattern that wen I believe to the far east for a shocking price for something that fits in the palm of your hand - I'm not going to say a price - just that you will probably be pleasantly surprised what it sells for. This is the prettiest pattern and the one everyone wants.
You don't need a reserve just make sure it ends on Sunday at about 7pm. (NOT 10 am on a Tuesday). Make sure you double box it and send special delivery.
EDIT - And damage is REALLY Important with these - make sure you describe any chips or hairline cracks

Re: Gustavsberg (Sweden)
Can't find decorators list - N it's dropped off the Gustavsberg page
https://www.20thcenturyforum.com/t271-gustavsberg-sweden?highlight=Search++Gustavsberg
One other thing - don't end it early you normally lose out if you do this, most bids come in in the last few seconds.
Edit: Spektrum Pattern

Re: Gustavsberg (Sweden)
Thanks for the feedback and tips.
It is quite lovely, I better get it listed soon, before I change my mind.

Re: Gustavsberg (Sweden)
Thanks for all that information and the links. Will definitely use all those selling tips, I really like it but maybe a collector needs it more. It does have a chip on the inside rim, which I know to highlight.
