That looks like John Clark's collection. The "Poole In The 1950's" exhibition at Richard Dennis's gallery in 1997 was based around his collection.

I purchased this vase at Cottees a few years ago. It doesn't have any pattern codes or artist marks but is impressed the Carter Stabler and Adams. Has anyone seen anything similar.

I think it looks like the kind of design that would have appeared on a Carters tile, maybe an avenue worth exploring.

Yes I thought that but as get have turned nothing up. The glaze as you can see is very green/grey which is also unusual.

That's a real odd one Sue. Shape doesn't look familiar, decoration not Truda Carter style, glaze unusual Shrugs . What's it made of?

Naomi, mid to late 50's plate, looks like variation of the 'Trudiana' pattern, mainly used on tableware, brown/mauve ish colours there will be a pattern code on the reverse. I have some nice large platters in the pattern.

Shape 440 M22,Sylvan Range. Hints of what looks like a possibly hexagonal type mark in addition to sprayers mark?

The hexagon is a trial or control mark. The exact usage of these marks has been open to debate but I think it was just used to mark any pot they wanted to be able to identify again when it came out of the kiln. It doesn't necessarily mean it was a trial piece although it could well be.

Another "Blue Bird" Piece, PN pattern in 203 shape. Not sure who the decorator was though. 1930's I assume.

Paintress could be Margaret Holder, certainly painted to a high std. Often called Bluebird and trellis pattern. May well be later part of the 1920's or v. early 30's. PB pattern tended to be the dominant version in the 30's.
