Dunno about ALL that pottery in a bedroom. All that dusting of what are the greatest dust collectors in the universe!

Re: How do you display your collection?
Celtic_Fan,,,, Love the display.... can we perhaps (please) have a CLOSE UP photo of the three top left?
As for me I still go for my ever changing shelves by the door. Changes twice a week - day by day, new stuff goes here (smalls). I don't do 'gaps'.

Re: How do you display your collection?
even Potty leaves more of a gap!

I don't seem to have posted the other one, so here it is.
A nice mixed collection you have there, I recognise many of the makers . Some of my shelves look a little like that.

Re: How do you display your collection?
Empty! I have taken the plunge and 'Bistoboy' is no more. I wrapped and packed my entire collection and it is now in the hands of an auction house for sale. The money is irrelevant at this stage as i've had my time with it and enjoyed it. What i'm looking forward to now, at least for a little while, is having some space to breathe!
Re: How do you display your collection?
after getting rid of my Bisto collection, it's surprising (well, not really) how fast the space is taken up by other bits and bobs.

Lovely!

Naomini it's Briglin - Bit of a strange tale that one, but the plate is a bit boring really. “A FAMILY ~ HAYMARKET THEATER 1978 ~ To GRIMOND from Harry Andrews and Paul Scofield” - Briglin did many presentation/commission pieces.. I like it as it's dated. Would prefer one to Peter Sellers or Micheal Bentine. More info here
Re: How do you display your collection?
moved some of my collection around today and slowly getting rid of the wife's modern poole .

Re: How do you display your collection?
Well we have established that I'm different. Various new things, including a beautiful Briglin perfume bottle that I think is certainly decorated by a woman ? (no man would paint those whimsical marks?) and a Tipler Aldermaston in the background.
Re: How do you display your collection?
Attempting to colour co-ordinate the shelves in the boxroom. It's a work in progress.
When the dining room is finished I'm aiming to have a glass display cabinet into which I can move the nicer pieces down from the bedroom. (Ashamed to say there is a Susan Fisher sitting in a Roger Cockram at the mo, as space is a bit tight on the shelves).

I married the wrong woman!!
I think it looks good (probably not a good sign... )

Crawford, I like your round vase on the left, second row down with the green and pink squares. Is that Briglin?

Jug with all the birds is by Russell Coates, from Farnham Art In Clay last year.

Zippy, it's Lu Klopfer buy them if they are at the right price. Ed spotted it last time I posted.
All you with fixed collections don't know the joy of standing in front of your 'shelves' doing some re-arranging.
Naomi I see gaps!
