Snap! Love it, Denby!
I also have stacks of banana boxes but mine are in the garage. I was wondering how many you could stack on top of each other without crushing the items inside, and without it toppling over. You have answered those questions. Most Excellent

Thank you. Now filled it! Most Excellent

Just spent a week rearranging stuff. Bringing boxes down from the loft. Taking stuff out to the garage. Best week ever. :)

The height of the ceiling is the only constraint....

A super collection. I really like this piece. Who made it?

Its called Stretching Cow and bought it from a studio shop in the lakes somewhere about 11 years ago, Its by Paul Smith who I wasn't familiar with then.

I like some of his animals but the bear and girl hugging and the like are not my cup of tea.

I like the cow but not sure how long your polished surfaces are going to last if the pottery collecting continues.

Zip dust adds character. Love the cow. I looked him up - He describes his work as "Dream-like". Perhaps like a cross between The Snowman and London Zoo.

I would glue it on. Even if it's crooked someone can restore it later on, which they couldn't do if it gets lost.

a restorer once told me that removal of glue from pottery owner's failed repairs was very time consuming and expensive so just keep the head safe

Yes I agree with you Dan as I read somewhere if you choose the wrong glue or numerous other things it can be worse.

I know it has little monetary worth even undamaged, but its a piece of pottery I hold dear for sentimental reasons.

It now acts as a reminder for me to be more careful Embarrassed so I've decided Ill keep it.

Brush the surfaces, a tiny dab of superglue, but practise first,
you only have one go.
