Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
Thanks DD. Don't suppose you know what the LE stands for do you? It's a design I've seen a lot of around.

Just one of their pattern codes.
This 70s traditional series basically had 3, LE, BN, and CS as I remember.

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
Sorry to being a bit pedantic but the paintress is probably early Sue Pottinger who started in 1967. Not sure about the capital A but its not going to be of any great significance.

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
Yes that is correct. That underlined A was just too obvious!
With the lack of a shape "Number" I wonder if it just stands for ash-tray?

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
I think the bird option looks the most plausible ...

Re: Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part Two
Legs = whiskers, and ears. I think they may have tried a double aspect but the bird is clearer

poole pottery Wrigley trucks and trailers salt and pepper pots
Hi, I am looking for information about these pots that are marked poole england with the wrigley trucks and trailers on the underside. They are approx 5 inches high, in quite nice condition but I have not been able to find any others for comparison, so hoping to find out when they were made and what they may be worth etc, so any details and
info would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

From the 1960s/70s. This is the LE pattern on a standard salt & pepper.
It will have been comissioned as giftware/promotional.
We don't enter into valuations, but with the damage to the LH item, very little.

Best to check completed listings on eBay for an idea of value, but damage does reduce the value considerably
