when the Delphis paintress' ran out of blanks to decorate, they sometimes grabbed some blanks from the tableware ladies and decorated them in the Delphis style

Pics are back. I have seen the delphis dish with handles/side lugs described as a bread plate or dish. I don't think I've ever seen one in an alternative range.

They would be the most likely other ranges to use the shape. The most obvious occasions of tableware being used in place of std delphis shapes are dishes 3A and 4A . They have no footrims unlike std shapes 3 and 4.

shape 49 was often substituted by saucers too
