It was in a cabinet so I couldn’t see the base. Maybe the dealer wanted a quick sale. It was at a antiques place near Didcot that was closing at the end of August

Its one of an edition of 100 pieces in that pattern. The design is by Tony Morris but it wont be painted by him.

So very nice but not hugely valuable.

Definately Aegean range, 1970's. They did a smaller version of that shape - no. 75 - which was also used for the Delphis range. I always think that the blue/grey colour was nicer than the more common yellow/orange colour seen on the majority of Aegean pieces.
