Wayne Hathaway's ex wife who worked at Dartington has assured me that all the WH pots on this thread were potted by her husband and not Hannaford

A slightly mad-looking Dartington Ruskin Purple teapot found in a charity shop today.

Many thanks for that. It's absolutely right. The mark is identified in British Studio Potter's Marks by Eric Yates-Owen and Robert Fournier.

Recently discovered that New Ashgate Gallery in Farnham stocks his pieces, now he's left Dartington. I'll post some photos on a separate thread.

Help again please. ID for this mark if possible please. Think I've seen this somewhere before, maybe here or another site. Thanks again to all.

Does anyone know who by and when this piece was made? Guessing 1980s.

I don't know who MH is. Looked through the decorators names off the website but they don't appear on it.

Beautifully glazed Dartington glazed bowl, thrown by Wayne Hathaway (if that's his name, I don't think we ever got to the bottom of that)

Cornflower pattern. Signed M. for Marieka Snell who joined Dartington in the late 2000s.
Probably a glaze trial because the red has over fired and they now just produce the green and blue cornflowers on a white background.

You don't see that pattern very often

Is it relatively new? Came across a photo from 2013 with a whole set of pots with this design but without the red/brown sponging.

they are selling a version of it still so very new

I have never seen any impressed mark other than dp and potter's monograms but then today I found this

Are you sure it’s Dartington? I’ve seen it before on a salt glazed Toby jug along with an HB mark
