Lol they are cracking! So funny. Is that a Missionary and lastly a Fisherman? I at first though the first one the Barrister was holding a tin of Stella
Re: Chelsea Pottery (London)
yes the fisherman is quite a character, I will probably keep him for a while but the others were just to sell on

If I was starting to collect studio pottery now, Chelsea would be of primary interest. Such colourful and interesting pictorial work. It still comes up regularly on Ebay at reasonable prices.

Re: Chelsea Pottery (London)
They are one of those potteries where pieces keep coming up that I have not see the like before. So both of those are your fathers? The plaque feels more the strongest to me but never would have Chelease been my first choice of pottery for either.

Yes, they are both my Dads. The seated lady lost her head in a move unfortunately.22 Crawford St. wrote:They are one of those potteries where pieces keep coming up that I have not see the like before. Re: Chelsea Pottery (London)
For future reference, An updated list of personnel and decorators that we now know of, has been
added to the first post of this thread, but be aware, it is by no means complete.
Hopefully it will be added to, as and when new information becomes available.
