Has anybody got any ideas on this vase please? Marked 414-16 W GERM.

I have not seen anything exactly like this but I am guessing Scheurich, any confirmation would be appreciated, thanks

I attended the usual Sunday Car Booty earlier today and picked this up rather reasonably. Scheurich Lora. It's 8"tall and is in excellent condition. It's my first piece of Lava....and probably won't be my last

Picked up this large jar today, it is 11in tall and has the word RUMTOPF on the front, on the base I can just about make out the word Germany under the glaze but I've no idea what the other word/number might be on the other side of the jar. Any ideas about the manufacturer or how old the jar might be. Also what was it used for ? Beer ! Thanks.

Any additional information would be appreciated! It unfortunately has a small chip around the bottom edge.

Hi Everyone,

Today's thrift-store find is a piece of West German pottery. This is pretty far out of my area, so if someone knows the maker, I would love to hear about it. It's 12 inches high and is pink/black. The label reads "509-28".

Your vase looks like it has a paint job over the glaze.

That's what I was thinking too. Some of that spray on granite stuff.

I bought this nice 493 - 27 and have been trying to track down date, but can't find any reference to this form. Is this unusual or just so common nobody bothers to mention it? Any information would be appreciated John

I'm fairly sure that they added the Scheurich name to the base in the 1980's

I have this vase which appears to me to be a Scheurich piece by mark and colourway but the form no. does not seem right. Did Scheurich sometimes re-use form nos? I also have another which I shall post seperately with the same problemAll comments welcome, John

This is similar to my previous post in that the mark looks to me like Scheurich and pattern looks good but form no. shows a different shape. Again could this form no. have been re-used. John

the base reads 275 28 w.germany (sorry about the photo), and stands about 18cm tall
